JUMPED OVERBOARD !!!

Stowaways 'forced to jump ship'.

Two Ukrainian sailors are due to appear in a South African court after allegedly forcing seven stowaways to jump overboard in the port of Durban. Two of the seven Tanzanian stowaways are believed to have drowned while five managed to swim to safety, police say.
The seven are thought to have boarded the ship, bound for South America, in the Kenyan port of Mombasa. They were found hiding in pipes and police say they were weak after going without food for some time. "We believe that starvation may have contributed to their drowning as they seem weak," said police spokeswoman Captain Gugu Sabela.
She said police divers were looking for the two bodies. The Ukrainians are expected to be charged on two counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder. The court proceedings were delayed while the authorities looked for an interpreter.
