FRANCE FIND 'ETA BOMB FACTORY' !
|
French police have found hundreds of kilos of bomb-making ingredients in a garage in the south-eastern city of Grenoble, officials say.
Investigators suspect the cache may belong to the Basque separatist group Eta, officials in France's anti-terrorist prosecutors office said.
The materials include ammonium nitrate and other explosive substances, as well as equipment, the source told Reuters.
Eta ended a ceasefire and resumed its campaign of violence in 2006.
Eta has been blamed for the deaths of more than 820 people and for numerous car bombs during its 40-year campaign for an independent Basque nation.
