POLICE RAID NETS £3m OF COCAINE !
Cocaine with an estimated street value of more than £3m has been seized by police in East Dunbartonshire.
Officers from Strathclyde's major crime and terrorism unit found more than 20 kilos of the drug at two houses in Bishopbriggs on Thursday evening.
Two men, both aged 46, were arrested and are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
Five men and two women were arrested during another operation which recovered drugs worth £20,000.
Officers raided 12 properties in the Saracen area of north Glasgow under warrant at about 0630 BST.
They recovered Class A and B drugs, believed to be heroin, amphetamine and cannabis.
The five men, aged 40, 21, 20, and two aged 16, as well as two women, aged 44 and 37, are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
Both operations were part of the Strathclyde Police's campaign against violence, which launched this week.
