BOY, THREE, QUESTIONED BY POLICE !
A three-year-old boy has been questioned by officers from Strathclyde Police investigating a complaint of vandalism, it has emerged.
The child was referred to the Children's Reporter after being accused of vandalism and disorder in July.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that a three-year-old had been spoken to in relation to a vandalism complaint.
Another three-year-old boy is said to have been reported to Central Scotland police for vandalism.
The boys are among 10 under-fives who have been reportedly interviewed by officers in Scotland this year.
In another case, a five-year-old boy received a caution for lewd behaviour.
Labour's justice spokesman in Scotland Richard Baker said: "Questions have to be raised about the family situation of those children."
Criminal charges cannot be brought against children under the age of eight in Scotland.
